Our five senses are the means by which we enjoy life: touch, sight, hearing, taste and smell yet so often we fail to use them to the full. This residential course for creative writing will explore each one of our senses. We will discover how they can enrich and delight us, enabling us to become more aware of the wonder and diversity of the world around us. The five writing sessions will reveal how we respond to the variety of stimuli offered including music, paintings, food and scents. Our work will be discussed in a positive, affirming way and course members will enjoy sharing their unique experiences with each other.
