This course is part of Week One of the Dillington Summer School. Residents arrive for Tea on Sunday 5 August and depart after breakfast on Saturday 11 August. The course will run Monday to Friday.
Following on the successful formula of last year’s Summer School programme, this year sees another new mix of public and private houses and gardens of the West Country. With a small number of supporting lectures, the houses have once again been chosen to give a range of period and style to show the wealth of properties and gardens in the region. The mixture of the famous and not so famous gives a really good sense of the quality and indeed quantity of properties and in turn shows off all periods from the late medieval to the twentieth century.
There will be a supplement of £200 for this course for residents towards the cost of transport and entrance fees.

I thoroughly enjoyed the two times that I've come to speak at Dillington House. I found the audiences to be engaged, receptive and welcoming. Somerset needs a venue like this, I hope it goes from strength to strength and I'd love to come back and speak again.
