|Course:||Understanding Commercial Patterns|
|Start Date:||10th July 2018|
|Fee:||£54.00 What's included?|
The success of dressmaking using commercial paper patterns depends on understanding the instructions and markings on the paper pattern. This course is for students who want to fully understand how to adapt the pattern and successfully cut out the correct size to fit them and make up the garment. You will need to bring a pattern and calico to make up a toile (sample garment) during the day. All welcome but you will need a reasonable amount of sewing knowledge, including the ability to use your own sewing machine, which you will need to bring with you.

As a film-maker, I travel the world but few places offer such repose, intellectual stimulation and comfort. I can't wait to come back. My hat is most certainly off to all the hard-working team at Dillington. Their commitment to high quality service and programme innovation is truly remarkable. I thoroughly recommend it!
